Transport

Kursk State is a calm city with various transport options. Luxury & Non luxury buses, Trolley Busses, Tramcar, Taxi are main transport options available 24 hours a day covering the city limits. Train services are available everyday covering out side city limits

During 1st year of studies most of practical skills and lectures will be held at the university premises. Since the University is situated at the center of the city and student’s hostels are attached to the university, all necessary services such as Supermarkets, banks, shopping complexes are surrounded for the students to feel free without traveling. 2nd year onwards-medical programs will increase its practical skills outside the university premises, covering the network of 28 affiliated hospitals.

However all teaching hospitals to which University is affiliated are nearby with the furthest being approx. 30 minutes away.

“Season Tickets” are available for KSMU students for less than **$5 monthly, covering all options of transport except taxi service.

If you wish to travel outside the city limits, you are required to inform the Visa Office and to take permission covering the period of travel.
